i'm gearing up for my daughter's birthday party this weekend. i have tons to do, and i haven't even started shopping for all the little items i need...
i helped my kids clean their rooms and then i moved onto the rest of the house when i stumbled across a lost can of diet coke. don't even ask me where i found it, because i'm not telling! and, this may seem completely insane, but i actually squealed in delight!!
the sun is shining, and i figured i should put my feet up. i took my can of diet coke, the latest issue of country living {featuring this lovely gal and her goodies} and relaxed on my covered porch. it was a little chilly so i didn't stay out for long. and after my extremely unproductive day yesterday, i don't have time to waste!
i thought this picture would look better if i cropped out my super white legs. but what fun would that be? i didn't get my fair share of pigment. that's life i guess, we all have our quirks.

i love me a productive day, followed by a nice beverage and a good mag. you've got great white legs...mine look just as white, except i need to shave too...cute, huh? :) glad i could join you in a little way today ;)
Hey! I've been checking your blog on my vacation so I was glad to see a little update. I miss you! I won't be home until Friday so miss me at the brunch on Thursday. Maybe we can get together soon after I get back. :)
I would be squealing too! I knew we had more in common! ;-) That sounds like a lovely afternoon!! I've crazily decided to do another garage sale so I've been losing my eyesight looking at baby clothes tags and sorting. Argh! I would probably donate it all if it weren't for my husband pushing me to do the yard sale. Oh well, I like chatting with people and all 5 blocks in my neighborhood are doing it. I just realized I'm writing this all on your blog ;-) I need a Diet Coke and some sleep,
