inspiration abounds in a store like anthropologie, and as much as i adore the place, packing up all three of my kids to get to seattle isn't as easy as it sounds. especially when we have school to do.
but, last week i was lucky to go twice!
as soon as i walked in, i wished money was a little more abundant in my bank account so i could have brought home all of the marvelous things i saw! knowing my limits, i went first to the clearance racks. there were some really cute dresses on sale that i would have loved, but i'm not too big into dresses and so i left empty handed that day!
about a week later, i was with my mother in law in seattle and we only had about 15 minutes to shop. let me tell you, there were so many adorable things on sale! and this time, i didn't leave empty handed...
isn't she a beauty? my MIL thought i could just sew one instead of buying it, but i fell in love with the zipper bling, and of course i had to have it!
i had been carrying a dress around the store, but then i spotted a green skirt. green is my absolutely favorite color. of anything. doesn't matter what...skirts, shirts, bags, socks, undies...going to far?
oh, it was lovely. the ribbon tie! the horizontal green pleats! seriously the cutest. skirt. ever.
the best part? it was stinkin' cheap!
i'm desperate to wear it, but my legs look like death warmed over and that condition isn't usually altered, so i'll just have to sport my super cute anthropologie skirt with legs so white they'll blind you.
i'm linking up with gussy's inspiration workshop today!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Lov'in your blog and post!
I am so in love with Anthropologie that it's a little ridiculous. I've only been in the store itself once, and I could have left with my wallet empty of my mortgage payment! But instead I bought two latte bowls and kept a mental wish list of the other things I wanted.
Both of your finds are loverly, and we live in Seattle, no one is going to bat an eye at white legs:)
Cute skirt!!!! I LOVE that shade of green!
